Saint Johns 2018 DE/LB Jake Dorn committed to Saginaw Valley State University on Thursday afternoon over 2 other offers.

Dorn is a high motored player who excelled as a senior at St. Johns where he was utilized as a DE and MLB. Dorn on defense is ferocious on getting to the ball, shedding blocks, and had several forced fumbles. Offensively his motor carries over to a physical blocker at TE.

From what The D Zone has gathered, Dorn is the first in-state commit in SVSU's Class of 2018.
