Farmington Hills Harrison 2019 CB/RB Rod Heard who is committed to Northwestern University, will be taking a visit on Saturday along with two other highly regarded Michigan prospects, Josh DeBerry and Abdur-Rahmaan Yaseen.
Heard who is ranked as the #14 prospect in the class of 2019 by The D Zone is having a big year for the Hawks on both sides of the ball.
Heard holds 18 offers and committed to Northwestern back in March, 2018.

- Player Analysis
8/23/2017: An unfortunate injury in track disabled him from performing in front of colleges this summer, so now that, that's in the past look for the Hawks CB to be in the discussion as one of the best cornerbacks in the state in 2019. Heard is a physical, lock-down type corner, who covers extremely well and suffocates receivers. Heard has elite ball skills and tracks the ball great. He can cover the 6'3+ receivers well.
College interest: As stated above there's a huge gap in his process this summer. Heard holds 5 offers. In these next 2 years, he'll be receiving more heavy interest.
