Chippewa Valley 2019 RB/DB Ja'Von Kimpson committed to Miami University on Tuesday evening.

The 5'11 190 lbs ATH has excelled all over the field for the Big Reds as a junior in 2017 as Kimpson had over 700 yards of total offense and 12 touchdowns. Defensively Kimpson had 10 pass deflections and 1 forced fumble.

Kimpson experienced a rise in his recruiting process with 4 MAC offers during May and 1 from Buffalo during June.

Kimpson is a DB with good skills and physical abilities who is a nice addition to the RedHawks recruiting class.
