Chippewa Valley 2019 WR/CB David Ellis has committed to Central Michigan (Story)

Chippewa Valley 2019 WR/CB David Ellis committed to Central Michigan University on Saturday evening over 6 other offers including a Big 10 offer from Indiana.

The explosive playmaker is 6' 190 lbs and had a breakout junior season with 10 total touchdowns in 2017.

Ellis was hand timed at the Rising Stars MLK showcase with a 4.28 short shuttle and 4.4 40-yard dash time in January, all 7 of his offers came in January.

Ellis joins Detroit King QB Dequan Finn as two players who committed to play for the Chippewas in the Class of 2019 today.
