Avery Lewis ends recruitment, commits to SVSU

Ann Arbor Huron 2018 6'6 SF Avery Lewis committed to Saginaw Valley State earlier today.

Lewis will bring some much needed toughness to a young SVSU team next season.

The 6'6 small forward has been considered one of the top players in the Ann Arbor area since he was a freshman. He provides a good motor on both ends of the floor, leadership and a good inside-out game that when used correctly, can create matchup problems for opposing teams.

Lewis' commitment means he is the 2nd player to commit to SVSU for 2018, joining Frankenmuth 6'4 wing/forward Mario Whitley, who signed in the early signing period.
