The D Zone predicts the King vs. Ypsilanti Lincoln & De La Salle vs. Oak Park game

Region 3:

#1 Detroit King made quick work of #14 East English Village this past week. It was 14-0 when they met in week 9 inside Ford Field but clearly this King Hitsquad team is on another level as they'll host one of the Cinderella Teams, Ypsilanti Lincoln at 6pm on Friday. The Railsplitters had a nice win over Woodhaven in Round 1 before upsetting #25 Wyandotte Roosevelt this past week. Lincoln has the athletes to keep this close for awhile but King has been here before and is not looking forward ahead to the semi-final vs. either, De La Salle or Oak Park.

Prediction: Detroit King 32-13

Region 4:

Wayne State will be host to #12 De La Salle and #23 Oak Park. The De La Salle Pilots normally play their home games at Wayne State. De La Salle as expected blew out Port Huron Northern and Oak Park pulled away late from Brother Rice. This should be a very intriguing game as both teams have great runningbacks who can carry a lot of weight on Friday night and also have very good quarterbacks with weapons all around. This should be a shootout where the team who makes less mistakes wins.

Prediction: De La Salle 42-38
