We're entering week four with another loaded slate of games awaiting across the OK Conference. By this time, we are starting to have somewhat of an understanding of who the contenders are, and who needs to do work to be considered in that category. Below are my picks for this week's game of the week in each of the six divisions in the OK Conference. Last week, my picks went 4-2 to bring my record to 8-2 on the year. Be sure to check back in this afternoon for my preview for the D Zone OK Conference Game of The Week between Grand Rapids Catholic Central and Grand Rapids South Christian.

OK Red

Rockford @ Grandville

Zak Ahern and the 3-0 Rams will go on the road for the first time this season to square off against long-time OK Red rival Grandville The Bulldogs are coming off a tough loss at Caledonia and need the win over Rockford to get back to .500. Rockford is scoring over 40 points per game and has only given up six points in its last two games. Grandville will need to find ways to capitalize on nearly every drive in order to keep pace with Rockford.

Prediction: Rockford 28, Grandville 13

OK Green

Zeeland West (1-1) @ Mona Shores (2-1)

Zeeland West is in the midst of back-to-back games against state powers Muskegon and Muskegon Mona Shores. The Dux came up just short against the Big Reds last week, bringing its record to 1-1 on the year. Mona Shores was on upset alert against Grand Rapids Union last week before quarterback Mark Konency and the Sailors put the game on cruise control in the second half. Expect a ton of points in this oneness each team has multiple playmakers who can break the big one.

Prediction: Mona Shores 38, Zeeland West 30

OK White

East Grand Rapids (1-2) @ Byron Center (3-0)

After beating South Christian in an impressive week two showing, the Pioneers dropped a surprising game to Grand Rapids Christian in week 3, sending its record to 1-2 on the year. The road doesn’t get any easier this week as they face a Byron Center team that is coming off a double-overtime win over Elkhart (IN). Byron Center quarterback Hunter Schichtel has been one of the area’s best signal-callers this season and will look to lead Byron Center to a 4-0 start for the third consecutive season.

Prediction: East Grand Rapids 28, Byron Center 25

OK Blue

Allendale (2-1) @ Unity Christian (3-0)

Unity Christian has looked like an early favorite to contend for the Division 4 state title, thanks in large part to the offense averaging a state-best 58 points per game. Crusader quarterback Cameron Chandler has been as good as it gets in taking what the defense gives him and leading Unity’s offense with precision, Allendale is coming off a tough loss against a very talented West Catholic team, and needs to bounce back in order to stay in the OK Blue race. Cole DiPiazza will be tasked with producing some points for the Falcons this week in order to keep pace with Unity.

Prediction: Unity Chrisitan 50, Allendale 14

OK Silver

Godwin Heights (2-1) @ Comstock Park (3-0)

Panther quarterback/running back duo Jackson Gates and Tyler DeWitt has led Comstock Park to its first 3-0 start in four years and look like the early favorites to win the OK Silver title, after knocking off a talented Sparta team last week. Comstock Park’s defense will need to find a way to slow down Jabari Crump-Moore, who has played like one of the best backs in the league through three weeks.

Prediction: Comstock Park 49, Godwin Heights 35
