Glen Lake to debut Turf Field tonight

The Maple City Glen Lake Lakers fell to Lumen Christi in the 2016 Division 6 state finals and carried their momentum into the off-season with plans to replace their outdated grass into turf.

Maple City lies just east of the Sleeping Bear Dunes National Lakeshore so it will make for an even better opportunity for casual fans to see the both of best worlds; a state title contending team and one of the best tourist locations in the country.

The Lakers will debut their turf on memorial day weekend vs. Saint Francis out of Traverse City who defeated Glen Lake in 2016.
