Game Preview and Prospects The D Zone will be seeing at Osborn and University of Detroit Jesuit (Story)
The D Zone' will be covering this Thursday night crossover game at 6:30 pm between, University of Detroit Jesuit and Osborn. The game will be played at Hazel Park High School. UD Jesuit (3-5) is looking to close out their season on a positive note under 1st year head coach, Matt Lewis. Osborn on the other hand is 6-2 and is looking forward to a very challenging game vs. the Cubs before they head into the playoffs the following week.
Below are the prospects we're aware of entering the game. We look forward to discovering more talent.
University of Detroit Jesuit:
2020 WR/DB Carson Hinton is an explosive playmaker for the Cubs and the #39 ranked player in the class of 2020 as he holds offers from: Central Michigan, Cincinnati, Purdue, and Syracuse. Hinton is 6' 170 lbs.
2021 WR/S Elijah Rikard is a 6'2 170 lbs player who we expect to be one of the better sophomores in this class of 2021 in due time.
2020 QB Donald Johnson III is an athletic 6'3 173 lbs quarterback prospect who has a good arm and it'll be interesting to see how he fills his frame and improves this off-season.
2019 DE/TE Will Gilroy is a 6'3 220 lbs prospect who is a good 2-way player for UDJ.
2020 ATH Jeffrey Knight is a speedy playmaker for the Cubs who has done a little bit of everything this year.
Osborn:
2019 QB Isiah Watts is a 6'3 187 lbs QB for the Knights who has had a monsterous senior season with 1,957 passing yards and 22 touchdown passes. Watts who is a dual-sport athlete has definitely played himself as one of the top QB's in this senior class.
2019 WR Remel Carter is the Knights big play threat that Denby will have problems with as Carter is 6'5 190 lbs and has a wide arm-span.
